Maison Sichel

France

Maison Sichel
Maison Sichel was initially set up as a buying office in Bordeaux in 1883 and has very much remained a family business since then, with seven generations succeeding one another.

Maison Sichel

The transformation from buying office to trading company to producer really took place with the acquisition of Chateau Palmer in 1938. Extremely dilapidated at the time, the Sichel family worked tirelessly to build the reputation of the estate, successfully cementing Palmer as one of the flagship estates of the Medoc today. In 1961 they acquired Chateau Angludet, in 2002 Chateau Argadens and most recently in 2020, Chateau Daviaud. Today, the total vineyard area under Maison Sichel spans 350 hectares.
