Pouilly Fuissé "L'Ancien Prieuré" is a great white wine produced by the Régnard winery in the historic Clos du Pavillon in the Mâconnais area, a southern part of the Burgundy region, where cellars from 1755 still stand. In 1984, the De Ladoucette family acquired the winery and initiated extensive renovations, including the restoration of vineyards. Notably, seven of these vineyard plots are classified as Grand Cru.

Regnard is among the oldest wineries in Burgundy, established by Zéphir Régnard in the latter part of the 19th century.

Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes from 30-year-old vines located at altitudes between 200 and 300 meters.

Maturation:

10-12 months in new French oak barriques

Tasting Notes:

It has a deep golden color. On the nose, the bouquet is rich in white fruit and citrus aromas, with hints of white plum, lime and verbena. The palate is lively, very fresh, balanced with touches of minerality. It is then balanced and harmonious on the finish.
