A new flagship of the winery - A wine that truly impressed us at Vintage82
Dark in colour, with slight purple reflections, it presents fine notes of ripeness and beautiful red fruits on the nose, is pleasantly flattering and shows a beautiful minerality. In the mouth it is powerful, with a nice balance.
Structured and deep with animal, smoky, toasty and tobacco scents. In the mouth juicy blackcurrants with cedar aromas, blood, iron, black olives, dried herbs as well as dried tomatoes and red peppers.
Firm, juicy, ripe & youthful with smooth tannins, lots of power and bite. The roasted, nutty and chocolaty aromas come through on the finish as does a touch of spice , dried tomatoes hint of caramel.
This was one of the wines that really impressed us at Vintage82 - We believe that if this wine were from any other premium or sought after region, it could easily command more than double it's price.
