Château Olivier guarantees consistency and excellence in its precise wines, offering an easily recognisably signature style, characterised by a nice harmony and beautiful minerality.
Though 2017 was notoriously hit by frost, the team at Chateau Olivier managed a wonderful job of allowing the grapes to express their very best. With its blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (58%), supplemented by Merlot (40%) and Petit Verdot representing a smaller proportion than in previous vintages (2%), the Chateau Olivier red 2017 from Pessac-Léognan is a successful wine indeed.
Ripe and juicy, featuring warmed currant preserve, fig paste and cherry puree flavors, entwined with licorice snap, apple wood, bay leaf and tar notes. Vivid and energetic through the finish.
