Jancis describes the 2022 vintage as a Luscious-looking purple. Heady. Very rich and opulent. Rather gorgeous for a young wine. Rich but not heavy - thats an awesome description.
The entry into the mouth is soft and round; good progression with fruity notes supported by a pleasant acidity. In the finish, the gentle spiciness is finely integrated with the tannin. Brilliant ruby red colour. Plum, redcurrant, dried cherry and leather on the nose. Full of juice and power on the palate, wonderfully harmonious flavours of small red fruits, Mediterranean spices and a taut tannin structure. A wonderful and well-balanced representative from Bolgheri, which also boasts an impressively long finish.
